Add gym pass to your digital wallet

Overview

If your gym uses NFC technology, you can add your gym pass to your mobile wallet for quick, contactless access. This means you can tap your phone at the gym entrance to check in — no card or wristband needed. This guide walks you through the process on both iPhone (Apple Wallet) and Android (Google Wallet).

Before you start

  • Your gym must support NFC-based access. If you're not sure, ask your gym staff.

  • You need a smartphone with Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Google Wallet (Android).

  • Your gym membership must be set up in the gym app.

  • The wallet pass setup appears once per gym brand (so if you use multiple locations of the same gym chain, you'll only see the setup prompt once).

Add your gym pass to Apple Wallet

  1. Open your gym app.

  2. Look for the wallet or mobile pass option (this may be labeled differently depending on your gym).

  3. Tap Add to Apple Wallet.

  4. On the confirmation screen, review the details and tap Add.

  5. You may be asked to confirm that you want to allow the gym app to access your location. Tap Allow to continue.

  6. Your gym pass is now in Apple Wallet. You can find it by opening Apple Wallet and looking for your gym's pass.

  7. To use it, tap your iPhone on the NFC reader at your gym entrance.

Poznámka

The first time you add your gym pass, you'll see a consent message explaining that the gym app is using NFC to enable contactless access. This is normal and only happens once per gym brand.

Important information

NFC availability

The option to add a wallet pass appears only in gyms that have NFC access enabled. If you don't see the option in your gym app, ask your gym staff whether they offer NFC access, or use a traditional card or wristband instead.

Poznámka

Older phones may not support NFC. Check your phone's technical specifications or ask your phone manufacturer. If your phone doesn't support NFC, you can still use a traditional card or wristband at your gym.

Multiple gym locations

If your gym brand operates multiple locations and you're a member at more than one, you'll set up the wallet pass once. The pass works at all locations of that gym brand where NFC access is enabled.

Poznámka

The wallet pass works at any location of your gym brand where NFC access is set up. Ask your gym which locations support contactless access.

Removing your pass

To remove your gym pass from your wallet:

  • Open Apple Wallet, find your gym pass, tap the three-dot menu, and select Delete.
