Sockets and LAN connections are installed in floor boxes.
Advantages
Floor sockets are suitable for any machine layout.
Cabling is mostly hidden, except for the cable from the floor box to the machine.
No additional space required, making it a practical option for existing facilities.
Considerations
Caution
Do not place Smart Strength Series 3 machines directly over floor sockets because there isn't enough space underneath the machines. Refer to Space under Series 3 machines for more details.
Floor box positions must match the final machine layout.
Floor recesses may not be permitted or possible.
